Private Voice Lessons
Ages 7-12
Miss Clarissa helps young singers ages 7-12, build strong, healthy vocal habits while discovering the joy of singing in a supportive, one-on-one setting. Lessons focus on age-appropriate vocal technique, breath support, pitch accuracy, and basic music theory--all while helping students grow in confidence and self-expression. Each lesson is tailored to the individual child and includes fun vocal warm-ups, technique exercises, and learning favorite songs from musical theatre, pop, Disney, or other child-appropriate genres. Emphasis is placed on expressive performance, developing a positive relationship with their voice, and developing an appreciation for a variety of music genres. Perfect for beginners or students with some singing experience. No prior training required—just curiosity and a love of music! Instruction is for 30 minutes, once a week, at Miss Clarissa's home in Charles Town, WV. Tuition is $24 per lesson, billed monthly. This includes instruction and learning materials (digital teaching platform, printing sheet music, and a provided binder). A free trial lesson can be booked separately to see if voice lessons are a good fit for your child. Starlight Creative Arts Studio is also a Hope Scholarship Service Provider for homeschooling families.

Cancellation Policy
1. Missed Lessons / Short-Notice Cancellations • 24-hour notice is required if a student must miss a lesson. • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice (or no-shows) will not be refunded or rescheduled, except in cases of illness or emergency at Miss Clarissa's discretion. • If Miss Clarissa must cancel a lesson, a make-up or credit will always be provided. 2. Withdrawal from Lessons • Students may discontinue lessons at any time with at least 1 week’s notice before the next scheduled lesson. • If lessons are discontinued mid-month, any unused prepaid lessons will be refunded. ⸻ 3. Payment Policy Reminder • Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of each month and reserves your weekly lesson time. An invoice will be emailed 1 week prior to due date.
